PrimeMD Family Health Clinic – The program will offer medically supervised non-surgical weight loss. There will be no out-of-pocket expenses to the patients for consultations as Alberta Health insurance will cover it. The specialist physician will see patients, an initial interview and screening tests (e.g., order blood tests) to assess their overall health. Patients will have the option of doing lifestyle changes (diet and exercise) alone or lifestyle changes plus medical treatment. The program will offer comprehensive and concise treatment for obesity, and the clinic will be a one-stop-shop for all the patients’ needs.
